My Signature Segment: Episode 1008: Quigly The Therapy Dog Spot Feature

The story of Edison's famous therapy dog, Quigly Bernam! Informs those of how Quigly helps students cope with stress.

This is my Signature Segment for Bolt TV. I was the main editor of this segment. I edited the rough cut and most of the footage with my friend Gavin McCaffrey putting on the finishing touches on the feature. I spent hours working on this segment. I feel as if this video perfectly demonstrates my editing abilities, my hours of effort I put in to improve in aspect of filmmaking, my vision as a filmmaker, as well as my ability to work with a team. That is why I made this my signature segment. I tried to make the clips flow as well as possible and went through multiple songs to put in the video. Special thanks to Gavin McCaffrey and Canela Larrea for letting me edit this as well as thinking of the story, shooting the b-roll, and coming up with the perfect song to add in our spot feature. Overall, I loved how the segment turned out. It was cute, informative, and overall a feel good piece of work. I do feel as if it dragged on for a bit, so we should have make it shorter while still making it equally informative. Hope anybody who watches this enjoys.
